How to Apply for Restoration

PreviousExecution Details and Timing of SlashingNextOperation Manual

Last updated 5 months ago

  • Restoration Request: After a cooling period (e.g., 7 days), a slashed node can apply for the restoration of its validator status. The restoration process requires the submission of node proof and the execution of a recovery operation (such as rejoining the consensus or improving online stability) to demonstrate compliance with the network's rules.

  • Restoration Time: Nodes applying for restoration must wait for review by the network committee. After approval, the node will have its staked tokens returned to normal status in the next block generation cycle and will resume validation participation.

  • Restoration Conditions: During the restoration process, the node must demonstrate stable online performance and comply with all network protocols and behavioral guidelines. Otherwise, the node may face further penalties.
